We love our icons and rebels. The image of political thought and practical politics is a closer match to dramatic musical theatre. Without declaring the fundamental flaws, all progress is scripted to preform well to the masses. View through the perspective to see politics as a dough that must be rested and worked, ingredients added and manipulated to yield a good bread. An outcome that characterizes the effort of service in every capacity.

What there is:
The current system(s)
Revolutionary Anarchism; Albert Meltzer
Often denoted as a political philosophy & movement against all forms of oppressive authority, abolishing institutions and hierarchy. Simply the belief that laws and authoritative power be replaced by uniting the people and working together freely facing adversaries, without abandoning moral relativism.
Textbook Socialism
Although never seen in the practice proclaimed by Karl Marx — A social & economical field that calls for the people to have control of property and natural resources. A tool in itself to be used to achieve a communist state.
Communism: Karl Marx & Vladimir Lenin
A political & economical system that seeks to enforce the concept of a classless society. The means for major production industries are not only controlled by the people but enact ownership of the production. Classless, meaning one without bourgeoisie or proletariat. Remaining untested, practical backlash from human capacity element remains to be disputed.
Current Capitalist Society
People experience the ‘American Dream’ of capitalism happening often times somewhere else, something over there. The excitement exists outside of our own life – a new gadget for tech YouTubers to sponsor and use, extravagant parties for our curated celebrities. But unless you are making 100 million per annum, it is profit over people. Has been the practical force of economic domination after feudalism, leading to many innovations and discoveries in science.
What there could be.
Man is not naturally good, but naturally a selfish hedonist
Leviathan (1651) Thomas Hobbes’s masterpiece.
At most now, a common cliche, using a simple narrative to create phenomenal cinema and modern realities. Often commonly disputed, I must disagree with Mr. Hobbes in his work Leviathan. To avoid confusion view through to see selfishness not as a trait, but as a symptom of privilege. The safety of indulgence for those who can have anything they need with little friction. In geography a common term that is used to highlight this concept is friction of distance.
